Terms of service
Last updated: 16 October 2026
1. About these terms
These terms cover your use of steadyfoldstudio.com and the marketing work you buy from us. By sending an enquiry you agree to the parts that apply to the site (§2 and §9–§11). By signing up for a plan you agree to all of them. If anything is unclear, use the contact form on our home page.
Steadyfold is operated by Luis Beauchamp, a sole proprietor, 190 E Rocks Rd, Norwalk, CT 06851, USA.
2. The free review
If you ask through our form, we'll look at your shop's public listings and send you a short written review. It's free, and it doesn't commit you to anything. It's based only on what's public and what you tell us, so it's our view, not a guarantee.
3. What we provide
Steadyfold makes marketing content for small handmade, Etsy and similar online shops, on a monthly plan:
- Pinterest: pins with images, titles, descriptions, board placement and tracked links, delivered as a ready-to-upload file.
- Email (MailerLite): a welcome series and signup-form copy in the first month, then regular emails, built in your MailerLite account or from a setup sheet you follow.
- A one-page monthly readout of what went out and what people did with it.
The exact pieces each month, the plan and the price are set out in your agreement with us.
We don't run paid ads. We don't post or send from your accounts using your password, and we'll never ask for one. You approve every piece before it goes out, and you publish it.
4. No guaranteed results
Marketing results depend on many things outside our control, including your products, prices, platform changes and timing. We don't promise any number of sales, followers, subscribers, clicks or rankings. What we commit to is the agreed work, on schedule.
5. Your content, and your permission for us to use it
You'll send us photos, video, product details, brand assets and your own writing ("your content"). By sending it, you confirm that:
- you own it, or have the rights to let us use it to make your marketing, including the right to adapt it (for example cropping, captioning, or combining it with text);
- you allow us to process it through third-party AI services we use to make the work, and that you have the rights to grant the permissions those services require for content uploaded to them (for example, a licence for the service to host, store and process the content to provide the service);
- anyone recognisable in your photos or video has agreed to its use in your marketing;
- every factual claim you ask us to make is true: materials, certifications, origin, who makes your products, shipping promises, and any customer reviews you ask us to quote. We don't invent claims, maker stories or reviews. If we need a fact, we ask you, and you confirm it in writing.
You keep ownership of your content. We use it only to make your marketing.
If someone makes a claim against us arising from your content as you allowed us to use it, or from factual claims you asked us to make, you agree to cover our reasonable costs from that claim, as far as the law allows.
5A. Your customers' details
If you give us access to your email account or send us customer reviews, we may see personal details about your customers. We use them only to make and send the work you approve, on your instructions. We keep them confidential, we don't copy subscriber lists out of your account or use them for anything else, and we stop using them when your plan ends. Only you decide who is on your list. You confirm you collected your subscribers' details lawfully and have their consent to email them. When we quote a review, we use the reviewer's first name and last initial at most, unless you tell us the reviewer agreed to more. If you're in the UK or the EU, we sign a short data-processing addendum with you before we access your email account.
6. How the work is made
We use AI tools to draft and produce the work, guided by a voice sheet you approve. A person reviews each batch before it reaches you. Some platforms ask you to label AI-assisted content; TikTok and Instagram do. When you publish what we make, turn on the platform's AI-content label wherever it asks for one.
7. Who owns the finished work
Once you've paid for a month, we assign to you any rights we hold in the finished pieces made for you that month, and you can use them for your shop. Some elements may not be protected by copyright (for example, images generated with AI tools), and stock elements stay under their own licence, which we pass on to you where it allows. We may describe our process in general terms. We won't publish your work or name you as a client without your written permission.
8. Payment, term and cancelling
- Price and billing: the monthly fee for your plan, as shown on our site or in your signed agreement, invoiced monthly in advance.
- Minimum first term: 3 months.
- Notice to cancel: 30 days' written notice after the first term.
- Refunds: fees for a month whose work has started aren't refunded. If you cancel before a month's work starts, we refund that month's fee.
- Late or failed payment: invoices are due within 7 days. If payment is late, we pause work until it's paid.
Your rights as a consumer, where they apply, are not affected by anything in these terms.
9. Our liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability under your plan is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect losses, such as lost sales or profits, or for how a platform treats your content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page is the current one, with its last-updated date shown above. If your signed agreement and these terms disagree, your signed agreement wins.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA.
